Do doodles shed? To say doodles do not shed would be false information and any breeder that states this is dishonest. It is the amount of shedding that matters and breed and genetics can cause the variations and amount of shedding. Poodles are a very low shedding dog and when crossed on other breeds this can control the amount of shedding. Old English Sheepdogs are also a very low shedding breed and the Sheepadoodle mix is also very low shedding. The Great Pyrenees is a dog that is known to shed and the 50/50 cross with a standard poodle CAN lower the amount of shedding. This is why we produce what is known as an F1b which is 75% standard poodle and 25% Great Pyrenees. This maintains the characteristics and nobility of the Great Pyrenees and allows for less shedding.
How do I adopt a puppy? Getting a new puppy is a big commitment. When you are ready to take on the most rewarding of challenges and would like to add one of our pups into your life, simply contact us via contact form to be added to a waitlist. Once your puppy is born, we will contact you in order of the waitlist. At 2 weeks a $200 non refundable deposit will be required to hold your puppy. At 8 weeks we will allow them to go home as long as they have had their first vaccinations and a clean bill of health from the vet. We try to make the weekend following their 8 weeks birthday their go home date. Balance due will be at pickup in the form of cash, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
Pricing? The current cost of our puppies is $700 total. This will include a go home bag, first set of vaccines and a clean bill of health from our veterinarian. Our puppies begin deworming at 2 weeks of age and will be included in their health record. Also included will be your new best friend and years of heartwarming companionship. ( Pricing can change due to costs and the price discussed prior to deposit is guaranteed)
Traveling and Delivery We
understand how important it is to get your new puppy home safely. That's why we offer complimentary assistance by meeting up to 3 hours away. If there are multiple puppies traveling in the same direction, we be able to extend our travel distance. Additionally, we can provide references for reliable ground shipping options to ensure a smooth journey for your furry friend.
